Podcast Episode 5

Posted: August 14th, 2007 | Author: Jacob Fortin | Filed under: Podcast |

Does it take as much faith to believe in Evolution than in The Bible? This week, my co-host Ryan Harkness and I will discuss a rather interesting correspondence I’ve had with my Christian counterpart. Also, we’ll be talking a little bit about a New Age group that believes staring directly at the Sun is healthy for them. Just where do they come up with this stuff?

I hate to be harsh, but this podcast is the kind of thing that Christians use to criticize atheism.

    1. Saying you don’t need science, that it’s just a “duh” thing, is just moronic. “The earth is flat, duh!”, could have been heard in 460 BCE. Not using any kind of emperical data to prove your argument is FAITH.

    2. There are 100 million people in Mexico, 3 million state no religion.

The green in this theme is FUGLY.

    That is all.

Does anyone have any idea what this person is talking about?

The most morally offensive aspect of Christianity is at its very core.

An innocent human being was tortured and killed as a punishment for other people’s wrongdoings, and they call it “justice”.

Read this verse, then tell me who killed Jesus:

    John 10:17-18
(Jesus speaking)”17The reason my Father loves me is that I lay down my life–only to take it up again.
18No one takes it (my life) from me, but I lay it down of my own accord. I have authority to lay it down and authority to take it up again. This command I received from my Father.”

Jesus gave his life for us, so that His blood would cover our sins.

I’m not sure what Marti’s talking about, sorry. And I’m not sure what Ben is getting at either, but I guess he’s just backing up rdmiller3’s statement.

yeah, i was talking about rdmiller3

a lot of people think that Jesus was killed, but that’s just not the case. He willingly gave up his life for all of us so that we can have a relationship with God.

morality comes from natural selection against aggression in humans.
