Podcast: Episode 2
Posted: July 8th, 2007 | Author: Jacob Fortin | Filed under: Podcast |After the Long Holiday week, The Good Atheist podcast is back. This week, we reflect on the meaning of July 4th, talk a little about people praying for rain in Australia, and about Chinese people eating dinosaur bones for medicinal purposes.

In the July 4th podcast you said Russia was the word’s leader in domestic violence.
Can you please refer me to your source for that statement?
I would suspected that middle eastern men would be right up there as well…
Viagra is not an “aphrodisiac”…
“Dinosaur bones”? Don’t the Chinese actually refer to them as “Dragon bones”??
Well paul, if you want the statistics on domestic violence, go to amnesty international’s page. Their numbers are frightening: 36,000 women each year suffer from spousal abuse there, with one being killed every 40 minutes! here is the link: http://www.amnesty.org/russia/womens_day.html
